Collaborating with civil society to advance action on climate change

The World Health Organization has a strong history of collaboration with a broad range of civil society groups working on climate change and health. Since 2011, when civil society groups working in the climate change space came together to establish the Global Climate and Health Alliance (GCHA), annual Global Climate and Health Summits have been organized, ensuring ongoing dialogue and mutual reinforcement of global efforts to address the health impacts and -opportunities of climate change.
